The following movies have been created by various pilots
using fight sequences filmed in the online flight simulator Aces
High.
Having made a few films myself, I can say that this process is tedious at best. Trying to get just the right angles and views to give the audience a comprehensive and flowing perspective from the pilots seat is an art.
There's a hundred things going on simultaniously which can be best described as controlled insanity. As you will see, during a dogfight you can have many enemy aircraft trying to shoot you down at the same time. You have to keep a "situational awareness" of everything around you. Only by using your plane's strenghts against the enemy's weakness will you have any chance of getting home. Even then, sometimes the odds are just too great and your flight ends abrubtly in flames.
I hope you enjoy watching these films as much as we enjoyed flying and making these for you. Some films will make you laugh, like Betty's entire bomber formation plowing into the side of a mountain after take-off. Some will amaze you, like Yucca surviving a 6 vs 1 odds and he kills all the enemy to make it home. Enjoy =)
